An everyday playground adventure, from a child’s point of view

How could I not share this? Everyday adventures on a New York City playground, as viewed from about 3 feet up. Recorded by a five-year-old girl.

The footage is grainy and jumpy, but it still manages to convey something of the magic that happens when a child is immersed in play. Watch out for an early inversion. Also for the bit about half-way through where the child has a little fall. She’s soon up and running again.

According to the Huffington Post, the film was made by a parent who simply strapped an iPod Touch onto her child. This deserves to be spread far and wide.
